Your leaves are turning red in the fall
Which can only mean that winter calls
So I’ll curl up in my den to sleep
Keeping my eyes from your tragedy
When spring storms come lightning will strike
Your corpse’ll burst into flames blazing bright
The ashes will spread on the summer breeze
To fertilize flowers dancing with bees
The sky is clear a forget me not blue
Blue like tears I cry I’m still not over you
I refused to let your memory feed me
Now I am left shriveled and weak
The day has come for autumn again
My leaves this time abandoning friends
