No More Snakes
A snake in the road
Was run over one fine day
And the pleasure that I felt
I really cannot say
It was payback for the wrens
Whose eggs he swallowed whole
He got what he deserved
He got what he was owed
All the slithering snakes
Should suffer such a death
Moreover I wish they all
Knew pain and loneliness
I wish that more snakes
Knew a raptor sharp
With talons on his feet
And a beak to tear apart
Snakes are very strange
With no arms or legs
Of them I\'m afraid
And wish they all were dead
