Maybe tomorrow

In the darkness, She craves for light,
Just a slither, to see her through the night,
But as she remembers why she\'s alone in the dark,
She scratches the pain, that now leaves a mark.

She\'s to scared to cry out, in case somebody hears,
She can\'t let them see, she\'s drowning in tears,
The emptiness will go and she\'ll smile once again,
She just needs to get her only friend.

She puts on her shoes and opens the door,
Only 10 minutes away to the conveniance store,
She whispers so gently to the guy behind,
I\'d like that vodka there that\'s £9.99.

She walks back home, and goes get a glass,
She has plans to try and make this one last,
But as soon as the vodka hits her tongue,
She\'s already on her second one.

The Girl in the bedroom is now sitting in light,
She laughing and wants to get help tonight,
She feels she can get through just about anything,
So she picks up the phone, who does she ring.

She phones all her Family, phones all her friends,
Finally she\'s not alone, she\'s now on the mend,
She lays down feeling thankful and eyes finally shut,
Goodnight everyone, I\'m out of this rut.

She wakes up to knocking, banging the door,
20 missed calls from the night before,
She stares at the hallway, her hands in her ears,
Screaming just go, I\'m to full of fear.

I can\'t do it today, maybe tomorrow,
She\'s finding it hard to breathe, hard to swallow,
She turns off the light, and stares at the wall,
I\'ll get drunk tonight, and ignores all the calls
