A part of me I once knew has gone away for some time,
Yet a new part has emerged into something so great.
Feeling lost with no purpose,
Yet revived with passion and sensibility.
I’ve been working a lot to establish my own ground,
Battling challenges head on with a lost heart.
Helpless is the way I once felt,
Until I decided to use what was lost to structure what was found.
And for now, I settle for difference.
This unexpected change wore away at my soul,
Only to develop my strength and expand my character.
No longer will I use this as my weakness yet accept this as my new beginning.
