Another day is gone as the dim sun sets below the rusty landscape
The rising twin moons behind a hill reminds of the one I would hear the wolves howl at
The dim stars remind me of the one’s I prayed to as a boy
And the approaching clouds disappear in the shadow of night
I know on one of the endless stars
You are there waiting for me
Your starlight still shines
For distance is only an illusion
The twin crescents were above the rusted land now
But only when I made it to a hilltop I could see them
Where the distant dust storms had died out at a valley
And revealed the last light of day left submerging below
The Earth began to climb
As I reach my hand out
I can still feel your warmth
For distance is only an illusion
