The English language
Full of adjectives, verbs and nouns
Words with alternate meanings
Some with the same sounds
Words arranged in specific order
To convey a thought in my head
Read the words as written
Then comprehend what I read
It might make sense
And it might not
What’s this poem about?
Sorry, guess I forgot
No matter
Cause sooner or later
It’ll come back to me
A senior moment to savor
But will I remember
All that I wrote
I know what I’ll do
I’ll just leave myself a note
I really don’t know why
I write such foolishness
Sometimes my mind goes blank
And what comes out is gibberish
