Subject yourselves to each other
To each sister, each brother
And be clothed with humility
God resists the proud, so be
And He gives grace to the humble
Therefore humble yourselves all
Under God\'s mighty hand, so He
May exalt in due time, see
Casting upon Him all your care
For He cares for you e\'erwhere
Be sober and be vigilant
Wary of evil intent
For your adversary, devil
As roaring lion does prowl
Walks about, seeking whom he may
Devour and turn away
Resist him steadfast in the faith
Realising lies he saith
And know that the same afflictions
Are share by all faithful ones
But God, he us called, He all grace
Called us to glory, His face
Shall we see eternally through
Christ Jesus, His mercies new
After you have suffered a while
God make you perfect, no guile
Shall stablish, strengthen, settle you
To Him glory ever due
