i feel myself growing
not physically but mentally
struggling still with some memories
i’ll forget them all eventually
but i’m moving forward now
finding new people, places, and things
reviving some old hobbies too
no more lies only speaking what is true
at times still unsure of what to do
it’s seems that’s just part of life
not always knowing what’s wrong or right
from long days into sleepless nights
through the pain I will fight
my dim future now seems bright
darkness is pushed away through beams of light
everything black is now turning white
i feel that fire in me ready to ignite
it’s my time to spread my wings and take flight
