Happiness

• What is this feeling that was giving to me

Given by friends and family makes me feel free

• Sedates all my problems and replaces them with a high

Makes me smile, laugh, and giggle and I know why

• For this feeling keeps us alive and that’s alright

Because of our sadness this feeling does fight

• We yearn for this feeling for we know we can’t keep

Makes life worth living makes it look less steep

• Because this feeling makes memories that feel like a dream

Because I am experiencing happiness it would seem
