’57 Chevy
It ran as if new
With a new paintjob too
Beautiful and cherry red
And turning most every head
I felt young again
With the car in the wind
Winding ‘round with a great suspension
I the cool one by extension
Today, it is good
And displayed in the neighborhood
Where owners show their sporty ones
Washed and shiny in the sun
There is the Sunday drive
On the road and feeling alive
Racing around here and there
As everyone stops to stare
It is a classic one
And really is a lot of fun
Always mine and never sold
Restored and never growing old
