When a Poem is published SHAPE becomes important !
Presentation is just as important as Rhyme & Rhythm.
Because it is disciplined ~ classical poetry (Sonnets and
Haiku etc always have a visually pleasing shape. Morphic
Poetry takes this to a new level and the completed Poem
(rather like a jig-saw puzzle) has a geometrical symmetry !
The above example (MORPHIC DIAMOND) is the simplest &
each line must be the same length longer that the previous
one. To make perfect symmetry the last line of verse ONE is
not repeated but becomes the first line of verse TWO which
is the same as verse ONE only reversed ~ OK The same Poem
can be presented as a DIABLO by writing verse TWO first and
the line \"I\" is not repeated and becomes the middle line !
