BRIAN & ANGELA

FIVE FABULOUS HAIKU !

much more intricate

than man\'s design ~ dew covered

bejewelled spider web

sunken stone glistening

silent trout ~ with his shadow

turns them off and on

no shelter from rain

damp pigeon ~ lets the rain drops

escape down her tail

waving green sea-grass

a bright fringe on the dark dunes

in coastal sunrise

jewel of an insect

iridescent dragon fly

alights on my pond

Thanks for sharing ~ comments welcome ~ BRIAN XOX

Classical English Haiku must be about NATURE ~ written

in lower case with no Rhyme and no Punctuation !  SENRYU

are about HUMAN Foibles & Emotions  Ideally they should have

17 syllables presented in a 5 7 5 pattern ~ The above are

good examples and ones I use (each with its own picture)

in my Poetry Class for Seniors ~ ENJOY ~ BRIAN XOX
