The sun comes out
It shines, casting warmth
If feels embracing, life giving
Time feels short as it sets
The moments are embraced as it lowers
Remembering the day, what it provided
The darkness sets in
Everything changes
The sun shines no more
The birds no longer chirp
The warmth is faded
Vision becomes blurred in the distance
Only to remember what was once visible
Only to question what\'s left out there now
What\'s left unseen
It only begs of questions, left unanswered
The darkness, the lack of light
It feels eternal
Will tomorrow\'s sun shine as intense
Will it leave a chill in the air
A cool breeze
Or will it feel stagnant, lifeless altogether
Lacking the the same embracing feeling felt not long ago
Will it burn brighter, more intense than that only left only to memory
Will it inspire the singing chirps of birds, reminding all is fine
Will it embrace with warmth and life, if only just once more
Will it just become a weathered memory
Will the cold winds wisper the warm memories
Leaving only chills running from the ears to arms and down the spine
Left confused to what was lost yesterday
