to corner shop where they get extra- novel tricks.
Toffee wins sticky favour over
chewing-gum tease or thicker black-jack liquorice.
Then girly pig-tails need attention
making sure female wailing changes to screaming.
But after school hooligans forget
those littler have recourse to big muscled siblings.
May tough-guy cowards discover
revenge raises fiercest protection in grown-up kin.
