Here I sit in the good company of my many masks.
Faces I’ve worn to bare this cruel and unforgiving world.
From the forced smiles, that have been adorned before frenemies
To the tragic looks of torment, watching in much disgust
A world of lawless kings and guilty paupers scraping by.
Characters starring in this play we\'ve come to know as life.
Shakespearean in all my ways. To live or not to live.
Questions that linger around. Heavies the head that is crowned.
Dying in celebration only befitting a king
For Death is the cousin of sleep. This night I slumber.
