Girl fled the river
Tired of endlessness
She tossed her stones to the wildest sea
It rose up and told her, you can just be!
She watched in awe at the mighty strength
Powered not by mankind, but ancient moon
She let the waves rise and fall
Patient as she heard it call.
She soaked up the mighty beauty
Overwhelmed by her own absence of beautiful mightyness
Why would the ocean greet her so
Allow her to exist within its ebb and flow?
She pondered the path which led her here
Granted gift of friend to kindred soul
How the mild and meak
Such a strength in wild woman could seek.
Girl fled the river
Tired of endlessness
She tossed her masks into the wildest sea
They laughed and danced and sang just be!
