HOW GREAT THOU ART ~ IN MAORI ~ LOVE ANGELA XXXX

O LORD MY GOD, When I in awesome wonder

Consider all the Worlds, Thy Hands have made

I see the Stars, I hear the rolling Thunder

Thy Power throughout the Universe displayed!

When through the Woods, and Forest Glades I wander

And hear the Birds sing sweetly in the Trees

When I look down from lofty Mountain grandeur

And see the Brook and feel the gentle Breeze.

And when I think, that GOD, His SON not sparing

Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in

That on the CROSS, my burden gladly bearing

He bled and DIED to take away my SIN!

Then sings my soul, My Saviour GOD to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art

Then sings my soul, My Saviour GOD to Thee

How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

I trust you enjoyed it, comments please, Love ANGELA XXXX

HOW GREAT THOU ART was originally written in Russian

translated into Swedish and then into Elizabethan English.

The use of THEE\'S & THOU\'S gives it a Solemnity and Gravity

which is missing in  HOW GREAT YOU ARE!  It has been

translated into Dozens of different Languages but it aways

retains its Power & Glory! Like the Welsh all Moaris can sing

in tune and in harmony and it sounds really beautiful! If you

look at the words you will MAORI is pronounced PHONETICALLY.

This is a Blessing because when it is projected onto the screen

or if we are singing from a Maori Hymn Book we can pronounce

it correctly while we still learning the language. If you\'ve never

visited New  Zealand, plan to visit asap!  Love ANGELA XXXX
