Ocean

The weight of my body drags me under as the bottom is ink that ceased to produce words

Pressure from the murky water sealed my eyelids shut, blackness dancing behind pretentious light

Fish began to claim me as theirs, pleading me to remain as millions of slimy lips nip at my toes and fingertips

Seaweed clings to my ankles, cold and sickeningly soft like shackles to hold me prisoner of the ocean

The mind is a feeble thing as my own dissipates amongst the blackness

Life behind my eyes vanished, my body sinking and sinking into the depths of oblivion
