Rainbow's End

 Next Poem

A bridge for kings to cross the skies,
an archway for a city street -
a wonder even to the wise;
Strange - beautiful - complete.
No clay or wood or iron frame
but something from beyond the veil -
the fading glory of a flame
that leaves behind a golden trail;
a wondrous gleam,
a fairy dream,
A shadow of the Holy Grail
