Confined No Longer

Reyas

I was weak when you found me,

You took me in and helped me back to my feet,

You made me stronger than ever before,

Plucked the world right from its pedestal and placed it in my hands,

You gave me everything all my aspirations and dreams, the strength I needed to complete them,

The moment I went for the door you slammed it in my face.

How dare you?

You gave me everything but never let me touch,

You opened my eyes only to cover them in shadows,

You opened my mind only to have it confined in a slightly bigger prison,

But I’m done playing house,

So open the door or I’ll rip it off the damn hinges.

I don’t need you anymore.

I never knew I helped ya so much. I don't remember slamming that door in ya face. You gonna wreck my door? And will ya come back?! heehee.

Nicely done, get out of our own way too 😉
Thank for the reminder if I get stuck, I'll buzz you to rip it off.

Good positive write, the strength within you will let you open that door without an effort.
