Flicking through the pages,
Gazing at the photos
As tears fill my eyes.
Never again,
Will I lie on that field
With the sun beating down.
Never again,
Will I be back in those classrooms
Whispering and laughing.
High school as I know it
Is over.
Now all it is to me
Is a building disappearing into the skyline,
As I keep walking forward
To my future.
