T'was like a summers breeze
More Sunshine if you please
As her heart fell in love again
I'd guessed I'd take the blame.
And when she had looked at me
I sang a good old sweet melody
And charming lovers to be in tune
Are on the other side of Blue Moon.
Then when she kissed my cheek
A glass of wine, she's off to sleep
As the curtain blows through cold
Never say goodbye is what I'm told.
As I watched the Moon come down
The dawn had risen sleeping sound
Until we meet again life will carry on
And try not to ever let me love wrong.
I'll remember me rushing into her arms
She loved me back with loving charms
But, now tears subside deeper in me
I wished upon her star to sail the seas.
And as I watched the Sun come up
All I wanted was her tender touch
And memories came flooding back
To silence in bed with a heart attack.
Take me back to where we laughed
We loved, we cried with hard graph
Took up in memories to have done
it's not that simple now she's gone.
Upon her lap, I slept, I loved my dear
If there's a God above keep her near
In my silent nights, I don't sleep at all
In my silent days, I pray that I don't fall.
From my grace to her love I gave
A broken heart I'd love to save
When my skin was broke it stole
I burned my heart out into a hole.
Sat deep in me a sweet harmony
Along the lines of a loves melody
Dear, with her heart in mine I'd try
As the whisper in my ear asks why.
