The River of the soul has silted

Emile Dubois

The river of the soul has silted
Yet the surface flows
Have we forgotten why we started this journey?
So readily we cast aside pain because ego isn't strong enough
All our thoughts, feelings and ideas sink, becoming submerged in the bed of our own making
