The Little Girl

In that moment all eyes were on the petite little girl. The courage and adventure in her eyes astonished them. Surely this poor child, who had been through enough in her youth, would understand the reality of the world. She would undoubtedly see things worse them anyone could have ever imagined even with the most haunted and twisted parts of their minds. Yet there it was, a little twinkle of excitement and smile of anticipation.
