Sing To The Stars...

kevin browne

Our prayers will hold back the tears
And our love will provide comfort
But, to have fallen beside this hurt
After being inside of all these fears.

Since the very first heartaches loss
As our wave goodbye to devotion is
In the ever appearing of what's lost
To sing it up over what you don't miss.

If our dreams dream forevermore
We'll love even better than before
But, to have a heart swell up enough
Or is this what hope brings with love.

And you may never get to know what
When your love is suddenly stopped
This time is now so get what you can
And pray for every woman, every man.

Land on the Moon and sing to the stars
Surrender your love all over to Mars
Torn by the tugging of gravities power
Ladies love every chocolate, every flower.

Silent nights like the ones we used to know
And a heartful love playing with mistletoe
It's gone to a wondrous display in the sky
They make things better there and no cry.

Our spirits survive until death didn't take
They'll never be grieving, never to wake
In abundance the distance from this life
In fine form as it danced through the night.

But, little kids sang poorly at heart
As they sang on, please play a part
Where the flowers are growing so fast
Look to the future please, not the past.

As our prayers started listening in
Mind about a loss when we begin
For a day, a month, another year
It passes quickly to bring on a tear.

Stood upon this life in charm
Where love stood arm in arm
Children's toys, girls and boys
Twist to shout to make some noise.

"And the boys from the NYPD
Choir were singing Galway Bay
And the bells were ringing out
For Christmas Day".
