To the man that broke my heart

You are the person that hurt me the most because you showed me what I was missing in my life.

 

I saw the best in you when I didn’t see the best in me.

 

I gave my time and energy to you cause I couldn’t give myself that same energy.

 

I saw the hurt you been through and how it matched the hurt I felt over the years. And I couldn’t process through my own life.

So helped you go through yours.

I couldn’t be that person for myself so I thought I you could be that person for you.

 

I forgive me for breaking your trust but I don’t forgive you for breaking my heart.
