The Bluebird Series

HeidiBeal

Little Bluebird

Fly away, Fly away little bluebird

You no longer belong

You are incapable
of making beautiful song

You do not fly with grace o'er head

You swoop down with your grief

and fog us with your dread.
Fly away, Fly away
little bluebird
Do not chirp your melodies

We have a found a flock that brings us

new tranquilities

Perched out the window
trying to sing your silly tune
But this perch is no longer yours,

no longer your fortune.
Your heart is bitter
and we have grown tired of your song

We do not care for you,
You no longer belong.
Fly away, Fly away

little bluebird.

Bluebird, Bluebird

Bluebird, Bluebird
tell me why do you sing the blues

You were made for happiness

and great fortune.
You flutter so gently in the wind

and in the rain
You do not need to carry

on with such pain

Have you forgotten who you are
Did you change because of your scar

Take flight over the river

so that you might see

this tiny reflection
of whom you used to be

Circle over, round and round
Keep on circling, until your pain is drown

Bluebird, Bluebird
you must find new tunes

You were made for happiness

and great fortune.

Bluebird, Bluebird Now You See

Bluebird, Bluebird
you cleary see
what was once
and what has come to be

Your reflection, like crystal you shed so much light

You no longer carry such a dark plight

Bluebird, Bluebird
it's time to take flight.

Swoop over the mountains

Soar through the trees

find you new direction
it comes with such ease

Your wings can guide you to places untouched

if your heart will be daring to fly just long enough

Bluebird, Bluebird you can clearly see

You are flying despite so much scrutiny

You are uncaged my dear Bluebird

uncaged from despair

your spirit soars
so high now,
You fly without a care.

Sing to Me Dear Bluebird

Sing to me Dear Bluebird

Sing so that your heart may reveal

a truth, an emotion
so that you begin to heal

How heavenly it is
that you speak to me in song

How real, How honest
Your intent to belong
You are Brave, little Bluebird

Your chorus does not shake

Keep singing, my Bluebird
an impact you will make

Your words will be written
in my soul today
I will honor this message

Your sweet song conveys
Sing to me oh Bluebird
Put your heart upon your wing
I will sit and listen
I will not say a thing

Oh sing to me Dearest Bluebird
