simpilicity

Tip tap tip tap tip tap tip tap

it all fades away.

she sits in the room filled with fog, it's grey, it's black. there is no color.

until her eyes pan around to his hands

tip tap tip tap tip tap tip tap tip tap

his fingers dnce around the cold, stone white keys

for the first time, she sees color.

His hands are a beautiful color, his hands are perfectly tan

his hands are smooth, gracefully giant

his middle finger and pointer finger are still dancing

color races around the room.

his colors

not in a violent way, not yet

the colors start to hurt her eyes as she begins to see a face

a face so ridiculously beautiful, it hurts.

her eyes sting, they burn, they fill with water

she is laying on the couch facing him, the only light in the room coming from the window across from her

suddenly the music stops

he looks at her

colors start exploding around the room

blue green violet purple pink orange yellow

she smiles

i blink

im her

from around the corner

no

behind me

I hear children laughing

one of them say something in the distance

he smiles

i begin to weep to the keys of the music as he turns his head towards the piano

he never turns to look at her again

she cries

she sobs

her heart begs as tears roll down her cheeks, tears she hadn't been able to cry for a long time

my heart begs as tears roll down my cheeks, tears only he is able to bring out of my eyes
