Addiction

hapadalecki

Everyone has an addiction.

Drugs.

Alcohol.

Sex.

Pick your poison.

Everyone has an addiction.

The thing is, my addiction isn’t normalized.

My addiction doesn’t have a “cure”

My addiction is looked at like you’re crazy.

You get called an “attention seeker”

A psycho.

No one knows the struggle of this addiction unless you’re addicted too.

So they laugh, they point.

Not knowing what it truly is.

This addiction, this vice, it isn’t for attention.

It’s the only way we’re staying alive.

Something to ease the pain.

Something to make us feel anything other than what we’re feeling.

It’s an addiction.

Cut

Heal

Repeat

Cut

Heal

Repeat

It’s a never ending cycle.

Just as drugs, alcohol and sex are.

Use

Heal

Repeat

An addiction.
