lilac angel wings

Crystal Hope

silent night turns the moonlight white
like angel wings floating across the sky.

starlit glitter sprinkles on tree branches
dusted with poinsettia dandelion dances.

honey glow on foggy window panes glisten
onto colorful children with ears to listen.

warm smiles of cherubs beam on the weak
as winter winds blow kisses on wet cheeks.

lavender lilies buried in a garden of snowflakes
blossomed by the sunlit ripples of a frozen lake.

starlight birthed by a manger of a baby king
cradled in the embrace of lilac angel wings.
