The Horse

Wackyheartache4

when the ride is second nature

For the obstacles before you

Lie in ambush, life takers

There's nothing you can do

But dust down, regain the reins

And steel yourself to start anew

If life's pumping through your veins

Otherwise, meet sweet release

For you've done and seen it all

To a living man, the final defeat

It may take a fatal fall

To end the painful cycle

The last mistake to pump the breaks

 The reaper takes what's rightful

And makes what is, simply late
