I guess. I've definitely been flightless a few times but can a bird just have a switch flicked or a beautiful moment of inspiration to bring those wings back quicker than we can blink.
If true the human should be grateful just to hear that bird sing!

The photo has the words : “Why must I be a bird with no wings ?”
Birds have been created with wings. It is unnatural to clip their wings. It is like humans being deprived of their limbs… Thus, the bird’s wings must be left alone. A bird without wings is condemned just to hop about, whereas it is meant to fly. Wings enable it to escape from many predators, except winged ones that are faster than itself. If it just remains on the ground, it becomes very vulnerable. Wings help it to escape from many dangers.
As concerns humans, dreams are the stuff through which we set targets that ideally we wish to attain for our betterment. We might or might not achieve these targets, but at least we formulate them and we work towards attaining them. Thus, dreams give us a purpose in life. Very often our achievements started as dreams. Without dreams we will just slouch about, not achieving much. Dreams enable humans to move forward. Wings help the bird to survive. Survival is the precondition for the bird to propagate itself.
