Rain kissed my cheeks,
God blessed me with a poison navy
that i throw up every night on my bedsheets
grey heaven looked down for me
the broken angels threw a spell on me
wearing all black and pray for me
in my funeral when i was truly happy
walking under the falling tears
tied with black ribbon to hold up my wings
voices were exiting my ears
because the sound of the rain
was a spell that freed all of my fears

OMG thank you so much i really appreciated it..especially the fact that it came from someone as creative as you thank u sm
A very nice write here MrsD, the imagery of broken angels, truly sums up the frustrating state, of the here and now.
I also really liked it, when you you said, rain can be a "poison navy", but also the cold splashes of it, "freed all of my fears", very enjoyable indeed.
Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

Especially "the broken angels threw a spell on me wearing all black and pray for me" It's a dark and deliciously themed and visual poem filled to the brim with emotions! Keep it up!

I love the idea of this regular music of the rain .it's the monotonous but inspiring decor of my flat country .A theme that I often develop in my writings .thanks for sharing .
