Genessi

I now know that nothing can bring you back.

Never again, will your presence be felt.

That everything by which we've been attacked

Were merely consequence of a hand dealt.

And yet, at times I find my self alone,

Thinking of the days we spent together.

Wondering, had I just tried to attone

Would you still have sunk into forever?

I hold your memories close to my heart.

Laughter from your final joke on my lips.

Quoting your common phrases to impart

A sense of continued companionship.

Subconscious traces of you race and dart.

You're gone from this world of my perspective.

A careless whisper on a heartless breeze.

No more to share your mind, so introspective

Never to

see, invisibility.
