Seether

Aa Harvey

Seether

I’m a seether who is stained with nicotine.

My name is Marilyn, I have the sweetest dreams.

I’m the nails pushed deep into my wrists.

I’m a care bear when I need to be a fist.

Former druggie tells me I’m no heroine.

Lost my way, I’m coming back again.

Lived the dream for a misspent decade.

Kill it all; the youth lived on razorblades.

Raised to be, but had to disagree.

Couldn’t believe in absolute anything.

Prayed to your God’s but they’re ignoring me,

So I guess I’m gonna have to kill everything.

Three wishes were never mine to take.

Lived for real, but not for God’s sake.
