Early on first Easter day - Alleluia!
Two women, they came that way - Alleluia!
Approached unto Jesus's tomb - Alleluia!
Found it there an empty room - Alleluia!
And two angels did appear - Alleluia!
Said, Jesus risen, not here - Alleluia!
Go from here to Galilee - Alleluia!
Him there risen you shall see - Alleluia!
For great stone was rolled away - Alleluia!
Bright the morn, not dark and grey - Alleluia!
Jesus, Light of the world seen - Alleluia!
He who died, buried had been - Alleluia!
It be as Scriptures foretold - Alleluia!
Harking back to years of old - Alleluia!
And too Jesus He had said - Alleluia!
He would suffer, rise from dead - Alleluia!
Resurrection hope for all - Alleluia!
Who by faith will hear His call - Alleluia!
To come unto salvation - Alleluia!
Whoe'er be, whate'er station - Alleluia!
