Past Employment

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

I know, I know that I need to find the right job next,
Working at most was a painful wrestler's suplex.
Thinking back to past employment,
Most in England don't offer any enjoyment.
Right now, I'm not working on purpose,
Was employed at 3 family ran companies,
Who were all far too serious,
Forever shining their dirty pennies,
They treated staff members similar to enemies.
Wasn't my place to bellow out a dignified speech,
Bad management drain energy and are a blood sucking leech.

There's other things to tend to also for me now - not that I shall sit back, now that I've begun retirement!
