Everywhere and nowhere

You are not a villain in my story

You’re just a girl with broken plans

And shaky hands.

And a heart that wanted it to last.

You remind me of summer days where the sun shines high in the sky.

And the warm can only be felt on your back.

You are not an unforgivable person.

Or someone that deserves to hurt.

You are just a girl who needed someone to help hold your heavy heart.

And If I ever hear from you again

I will hold you more carefully with the grace of my hands 

To remind you that I am there.

And that I cannot be bothered to go anywhere

Because you are not a villain 

Or a mistake that needs to run away.

You are a girl that once gave me everything

You made flowers grow inside my lungs 

And gave me a voice to sing my songs

You are someone who deserves to love without fear of love not chasing you back.

And I mean that in every sense of the word.

Even when I cannot see you on the cloudiest of days

I always feel you 

If I ever see you

I fear I may not be able to ever let you go again.
