Snot

antithesins

The poor boy

solemn eyes will always look at me as his first love

It saddens me

I cracked his skull

I Held his heart and Ate It

I Ate him whole and I can’t rid

I can’t fucking rid myself of

Tissue and Fat

lining my stomach

Bile coating my innards, pulsating like a fresh wound

Very clean and very presentable for you

Your hawking family

Very ironed and very shiny

I uncross my ankles beneath a creaking dinner table

Does my skin scare you.

Do my nails drag too rough.

Very clean

Very nicely done

Very ironed and

Very shiny

 too much and not enough

Veins pumping around my throat like

A breathing  noose

Did I fulfill your hunger.

Did I satiate you.

I ate your heart

licking the honeyed droplets of a sweet summer as I go

Only if you thought so

we had fun,

 sometimes

But you don’t know how to hold your liquor

Snotty and sniveling

Dragging down my sleeve

Wet from your tears and your fucking shot glass

You’re spilling over

Wetting my shirt and your jacket

Everything about you is weighing me down

Weeping to me like a child because

I am your first

Your mother never taught you a thing about

liquor or men or love at all,

 for that matter

Clearly

like your stolen liquor,

spilling and leaving a trail of destruction in your wake

Did it satisfy you.
