Because I was born in a broken home,

-They judged me!

 

Because there was no father at home,

-They judged me!

 

Because I left a cheating man,

-They judged me!

 

When I became a wife of just one man,

-They judged me!

 

Because I worked 2, 3 jobs,

-They judged me!

 

When I walked away from my career,

-They judged me!

 

Because I live for my God and the ones I love,

-They judge me!

 

Because I’m willing to surrender even my life for my principles,

-They judge me!

 

Because I’m willing to stand my ground and fight,

-They judged me!

 

When I refused to pick a side,

-They judged me!

 

Lord, only you can see,

Who I am, what’s within me.

You teach me and guide me, from your path I won’t budge,

Assuring me, final word is yours,
