Red fades to black
Dancing like a prince
Mighty sure of that
I’ve known it ever since
My loved one‘s name was T
In a vision of hello
The more I try to fight it
I guess I’ll have to know
You have me grasping my sheets
The lump in my throat seems to freeze
There’s one thing my life has been missing
The two-man team of you and me
I need you to stay with me softly
I want you to know you were more
Than just some game to be won
You are everything I was fighting for
I want us to be special
Even if it takes another life
I’m glad you found your forever
I just wish it could have been mine
Now I’ve pushed away all I had
In lieu of a perfectly imperfect valentine
If I don’t make it to heaven
I hope you soar in your castle in the sky
