Mom and Pop’s Cafe ☕️

GenXer Shamrocker ☘️

Cade and Calia have had some small talk on their way. “It’s the second driveway on your left.” Calia says; Cade sees the sign reading Mom and Pop’s cafe. “I remember this being run down for a while.” Cade says; “It’s come a long way!” Calia says with a smile. “So tell me Calia what made you take over?” “Well Mom and Pop made their living in this cafe.” “I could never sell it; I never wanted to hand it over.” “I loved being here and smelling fresh baked donuts.” “Freshly brewed coffee and brownies with walnuts.” They head inside and Cade is in awe. Pictures from the past and present are on every wall. The setting is homely and you just feel like you belong. In the background is country music; one of Cades favorite songs. “Would you like to see the kitchen where all this is made?” “The display is astonishing!” Says Cade; They head to the kitchen and in the corner is a picture. The two faces seem awful familiar. “Are these your parents? He asks rather confused; “yes I got that one from Grandpa Lou.” Things seem to be going well so far; want to know more? Come back for the next part!

Are you kidding? Yeah, I want to know more. Although I think I can see where this is going. I see smiles for everyone. 😁
