When my heart stops beating

plasticmario

when my body goes limp

and I've fallen to the ground

when my heart stops beating

not making a sound

when my mind stops thinking

And there is nothing left

after my skin grows cold

and I've took my last breath

will you still be there

even after I've gone

or will you be sad

but easily move on

don't dwell on sorrow

griefs not a good friend

i just want people to smile

when my life comes to an end

Hi Chadwick, first let me welcome you to P & P! I hope you enjoy this site, Your poem seems a sad and poignant tale, but well written. I guess we all wonder sometimes what people will think of us when we finally go, but it is more important what people think of us when were alive. That's my credos anyway!. keep the poems coming, and once again welcome. BF
