Wow. It is a beautiful description of love and the desire for true love...I quite enjoyed it. The image with it is so perfect, of course. I like how you expressed it, ie....incomplete, brighter world, my treasure, childish heart pleading for light and never to be forsaken...your symbolism was excellent. It is lovely and nicely done/well-written.
