It's time I'm letting you go

I'm starting my life anew

Which for me is hard to do

Our now broken vow

unwanted question,how?

But if I stayed in

Our marriage and lied

Knowing I would have died

I lost myself

Over all these years

And shed a lifetime of tears

Am I strong enough

To listen only to me

Am I being selfish

For wanting to be free

I'm opening a new door

Taking the long road ahead

Knowing I was meant for more

Hearing only my broken heart

Trusting in god and myself

Gives me the strength for a new start
