I know love goes on forever
Because you told me so
I also feel it in my heart
Although it doesn't show
It keeps my soul alive
It keeps my heartbeat strong
It goes with me to bed at night
And wakes me up at dawn
Love is eternal, Love never dies
It makes you feel full, it shimmers with light
Even though you're gone far, far away
Your love is still alive, keeping away the pain
When my turn comes to join you there
I'll leave this world, without a care
For Love goes on, I know that now
We'll be together someday, somehow

As I read more of your poetry, I realize how good of a writer you are.
