About a Girl

writersblock

Sometimes I regret meeting you

I wish I hadn’t fallen for you

Things would have been so much easier

If I never wanted you

But I did want you

You let me see myself anew

And I’m scared of people knowing

You told me that their opinions don’t matter

And you know what

You are right

You are right

Now I know who I am

You set me free

So I can thank you for that
