Visions

YukkiLove16

I had a vision of a forest

Illuminated by the full moon

A girl in a beautiful dress sat alone

She gazed at the stars and smiled in wonder

I found myself staring

At everything she was

I saw her beauty, but wasn't attracted

She was effortlessly majestic

Her movements were like magic

Her skin was clear and smooth

Her hair was silk, and raven black

Her lips were a dark pink

I noticed though, she had ears and a tail

I realized that hidden under snow

She hid her victim's shiny bones

I trailed my eyes upwards, startled by the sight

I hadn't noticed the dress was spattered red

She moved in preparation of a kill

Her skin was littered with scratches

Underneath the top layer, her hair was shriveled and dry

Her lips were a dark red

Shining with a thick liquid

As it dribbled down her chin

I stared at her and finally saw her eyes

There were two holes

Sinking in her face

Her eyes were nestled inside

A dulling green surprise

She gave me a smile

It never reached her eyes

The moon shined on her fanged teeth

I studied her face and realized

She's the demon inside of me

I looked over her basic features

We were similar

She still held more beauty

I moved towards her

Extending my arm in reach

She moved her razor-like teeth

Splitting the skin mercilessly

I felt freed

Then I came back to reality

I opened my weary eyes

Looked down, and sighed

It was just a vision

Of a girl, beautiful as can be

Instead of her razor-like teeth

My arm had met with a fragment of glass

I had done it to myself again

I'm continuing as we speak

Every sting I feel like a masochist

Loving the simple pain

But I wish I could've stayed

In that beautiful vision

Even if I were to be killed

I'd have the company of someone to share my guilt
