When my back is against the wall

jmross2012

A gloomy day
among dark clouds, along with
the rain coming down.

Red brick walls,
scratching against my bare back,
bleeding from within.

Bruises showing on the outside.
Pain falling from my tears.
I know help is coming.

Sunshine awaits me.
The sun shines, brightly.
And again I pray.

A great blessing
came upon me in result
but it took patience

Tunnels of light.
I face the wall where my,
back is no more.
