Love's End

StuckInSweetSurrender

Yeah, I've heard giving birth hurts the most.
And breaking your ribs can come close.
Or maybe it's when you die and become a ghost.

However, there's a pain no man should ever go through.
A pain somebody can easily misconstrue.
And look pathetic to a different point of view.

A pain that breaks you down more than anything can,
Leaving you without a smile, hope, or plan.
A pain that makes you broken, a broken man.

You fought so hard for something not meant to be.
A fight you never thought you'd come to see.
The final sign of being together set free.

Some say it'll only take some time.
Maybe 10,000 beers or bottles of wine.
But this pain sits on a very fine line.

You vow your love to someone for all eternity,
You love with such passion and intensity,
When it ends, you're left with no identity.

Now I have nothing left of me to spare.
Forever frozen in endless despair.
A sweet surrender turned into a nightmare.
